So How Long Do You Stare At Your Aquarium & Fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have my 33 long in the living room and when comercials come on rather than surf the channels Iam watching my barb tank.

few weeks ago I went to the shed to feed the fish, I came back 45min later, thought I was gone 10min

Oops! (Are we brothers!)

Sometimes I sit until my legs go dead, I must get a better seat, those containers just don't cut it!
by the time I've mucked around with the puffer (he likes playing games) checked things are ok in each tank, fed them, watched them eat, boy, that's an hour or two!
Of course it could all be done in minutes!

I would probably be on meds lol without my tanks, best therapy watching my fish.:)

My tank is actually empty at the moment , Just wood water filled with Tanin and still , I stare any chance I get. should be full of life by May.

I haven't watched standard television for decades... ( i have other vices though, like gaming, movies, crap like that).. but nothing beats tank watching for an hour or two before going to sleep.

I probably spend a hour or so watching the tanks throughout the day. Checking if their all alive, feeding them, pumps working etc. My favorite time is after work in the eve though. Family is sleeping. Timers on, fish awake and hungry. a cold one in hand. Cheers.

Bought a wooden table in the room that has my 475g that facing it and a tv over the tank...Could stare at the tank while watching a bit of tv for 3-5 hours a day..No joke love watching them interact and go about their business

LOL...that's what I've been doing lately. Since I got my piranhas, I check to see if they're still alive. I'll approach the tank several times a day and start counting. If some are missing, I think they got eaten but eventually find them behind the sponge or in the plants. :grinyes:

Sometimes I'm down stairs for staring at my tank for hours just relaxing. If there's new fish or setup then it'll be all day long till the wife says something like" when are you gonna spend some time with the kids and me". I'll reply almost done here.
