Sorry, missed this. Hadnt been on for a bit. Summer is here and focus is on yard projects.
I ended up rehoming the large one and kept the small one. I moved the small one to a 90 gallon community tank and it just mysteriously died a few months after. Belly looked full, not sunken and no other fish messed with it, so really just a mystery. At the moment only pleco I have is an albino bristle nose. I do miss the ‘cute’ factor when the chubby pleco was in the tank.
