I seriously doubt a couple hundred dollars per truck will make anyone take $$ out from savings...
Besides, since when did firetrucks require an aesthetically pleasing scheme? They are intended for emergency purposes, not car shows.
There is a lot of public spending going on that doesn't attract this attention.. speaking of which.... Gotta run

Yeah. We just a ton of new units with them and they are a litteral eye sore. Not cheap either. They really think its gonna stop drunks from destroying us? If they cant see the flashing lights they aint gonna see some stripes

How does this effect me? I just cannot picture American Fire Fighter's and tax payers agreeing to all of this. Granted it may be mandated by the NFPA, but at least put some stars and a blue field with those stripes, not a damn union jack. This is 2011, not 1776.
