Not that your opnion is going to help cuse I prob. ultmitaley make my own descision in the end, but input is always nice :) See I have some problems. Well first think of this, you get a car that you really like and become attached to it (yah I know becoming attached to things isnt good and blah blah blah... ) Anyways its my fav. car even though its overplayed and not some hot sports top of the line thing. Anways I love my car to death its a 1994 2-door Honda Accord Ex V-tech. Well the thing is as I posted awhile ago when someone re-ended me and destroyed the back of my car  (hit and run so insurance cant pay if I dunno who hit me... and my insurance doesnt cover people hitting me so its no good.) well the damages cost ALMOST as much as I payed for it abou $1000-$500 dif. I can get it fixed for about $1000 but it also has a bad oil leak somewhere behind the tranny and also a cv axel on the left thats about to go. Now in my mind I love this car so I wanna fix it even though when I do its still sorta dented in other places and has a dif. colored fender and with the work that needs to be done I cant afford a paint job also. So the other option I have been given is to buy my g-mas 1996 Ford Thunderbird (its the model that comes with everything) for $5000 and it has 20,000 miles on it as my g-ma really didnt drive it ever she bought it and its pretty much just sat there. Now I told my parents I cant afford it and I am not paying for it so if they get it for me then thats there deal if I agree in selling my car b/c they want me to have a "safer car" not that my car isnt safe It just needs a little work. To me I LOVE my honda I <3 my honda I love the smallness to it the compact ness the accordness the 2door ness and i like the back end I also have a strong dis-like for american made cars, dunno why just dont like them. If I ever had money to buy any car that I wanted honestly I would want the car I have now. So now I am stuck.... I dont know anything about thunderbirds anyone got some opnions on this???

KEEP the HONDA....how even T brids R great i have a 92 that i put a mustang 5.0 I love that car very much, i als built a Shelby Cobra..... :woot: :woot:

Really, I think its time for the honda to go. It sounds like it has too many problems. How many miles do you have on it? oil leaks are never good, usually not cheap to fix (unless its the oil pan or valve cover gasket) and a constant velocity shaft is a good start for other things to fail.

When the car was hit it could have cause more problems too (alignment, stress on the whole car, ect)
While I dont care for ford, a loaded Tbird IS a good car and a VERY comfortable one. You will sacrafice gas mileage, but the car with only 20kmiles has a lot of life left in it.

It is a safer car. the handle and ride isnt too shabby, LOTS more power (if its the V8 which it should be if its loaded)

Its time to put the honda to rest and get a different car:)

My 2 pennys.

i cosign rallysman plus i bet the t-bird would be comfy as hell and you could pimp it out with suicide doors like this guy :grinyes:

AHHHHHHHHH OH MY GOD!! KILL IT!!!
KILL IT BEFORE IT BREEDS!!!!!

my opion is to get rid of the honda if you dont have to pay for the t-bird. save your money and get another accord later. but than again thats my two cents.

Let's not lose sight of the obvious... $5k will buy one hell of a fish tank.

but she isnt paying 5k so she can use the money that was going to fix the accord for a tank!!:Dlol

Oh I can tell from reading this that there is a problem with your VTec. THERE'S A HONDA ATTACHED TO IT!! Toss the car, keep the engine and drop it in an Eclipse.
