SC
and just for fun I went to the fish department to see if they had anything interesting, I saw the usual suspects, but when I looked at the RB Pacu tank I noticed something odd, they had a overbite and upon inspecting the mouth SHARP pointed teeth were present. There was a pleco in there that looked like he had been torn up.

Think these might me Pirhana? I am in SC where they are ILLEGAL.

I have no place to put the little guy. I have a 55g brackish and 50G fresh with my EBJD

Ugh. Walmart makes me mad.
I once saw a sign on one of thier completely full, bare fish tanks saying they would stop selling newts until they could figure out why they kept dying. Go figure.:wall:
Out of curiosity, does anyone else have qualms about buying fish from them? I know sometimes the "deals" can be hard to resist, but still...

ok well lets see walmart has SOOO many employees none which know im sure of about aquatics at all. Every day each employee is put into a department to clean up and keep in line and help customers if they need it. So im sure at least 5-8 people a day are in that area and thats per day i can only imagine the people per week. I work at petco and i was hired for one department and when i come in thats where i go and until i get there NO ONE!! does anything. If im off they are allowed to scrub algae. Damn walmart:irked: :irked: :irked:

I just went to my local Walmart and they did have RB Pacu's there as well, which is a rarity to see at Walmart. I don't know the difference really to tell the difference between Piranah, but I am in MA and they are also illegal here as well. So either Walmart messed up bigtime, or they are Pacus.

Edit: More to add
Another day a family was buying goldfish for their ten gallon tank. They got 10 goldfish, and the employee working there put each fish in a seperate bag. I just walked away baffled.
