Most walmart fish departments suck, but I will have to say that one in Fort Worth has a great fish department. I have a great Botia Striata from there in one of my tanks now.

no one at wally world knows anything about keeping fish. there idea of a dangerous and mean and big fish is an oscar. WHOA, BIG MEN, an oscar, thats amazing

i saw a tank full of fish, cant remember what kind, but some of the fish were getting the crap beaten out of them by some other fish and i told the guy workin there and hes like "ok,one sec". he didn't do anything.

easy there, i used to work there. i def. steered some people in the right direction and almost got fired for it. i dont care about the whole customers allways right when it comes to pets. i had a guy try to buy an oscar for a 10 gal and i wouldnt sell it to him.

I work at walmart, "no one at Wallyworld knows anything about keeping fish" seems a bit broad of a statement.
One thing I do is correct those stupid, misleading tank labels that tell people things like silver finned cats only get 6" long and are peaceful, or raphael cats are suitable for community tanks containing small fish. I also refer people to other sources for fish and information (such as this site).
