I ended up buying so many things....gosh! The place is a money pit hole!
After receiving some great advise from members here on the forum I went out and looked at the different types of DSLR's in my price range.
I ended up getting a Canon Rebel XSi ( EOS 450D) simply because I love the way if felt in my hands. My initial plan if I was suckered in to buy a camera that day I would only get the main kit and that was it. Well....plans don't really work out that well....
I got the Camera w/ the 18-55mm IS (image stabilizer) + 55-250mm IS lens + 50mm lens + 16gb card + extra battery + Some super expensive filters.
After collecting all my items onto the counter of the sales desk I realized I wouldn't have anything to carry my new camera in....as I was looking around store to find a bag suitable enough to carry all my stuff excluding all the bags to look like lunch bags.....anyhow I get to the bags where there is this silly video montage of this bag where the guy pulls out his camera in the middle of london and starts taking pictures. I laughed, it was a good attempt to sell bags through this silly video.......well I ended up buying the bag in the video......

dont know anythign about canons, but do all their cameras autofocus the lens, unlike the D40?
