You could always just sneak some in the tank, does she know how many you have?
I sneak fish home so the GF does not know haha
I also am responsible for deciding what comes into the pet store (at least the fish part of it)
So I become poor quickly haha

she knows what i have to an extent. she just found my 14" sal
had it from 2.5" and she didn't know. now she checks
. she saw that i got this gar and tried to get out of paying for pizza tonight. my jedi powers got my pizza paid for, but i didn't get anything else for fish
. so i got $40 out of her this morning(still got $10) and then she paid for pizza. fish and a pizza compliments of the wife.

Next step is getting her on the fish addiction.
My GF likes certain fish. Pays for half my Stress Coat budget, half on food and half on some fish which means I have more money for other fish haha
buy all six of the remaining gar and tell your wife that through immaculate conception your gar gave birth to 7 babies

i love your enthusiasum, but she would notice the missing funds. she watches that stuff.

i tried discus and had a large mix of african peacocks/malawi cichlids she didn't like them that much. she liked my TSNs, RTC and RTCxTSN though
i just don't understand how she works yet. like some oddball fish, but not others.
