I just gave it some crickets and tried some superworms but it didn't take them. I left some lettuce in there with it and it seem slightly interested so I hope it will eat it. Where can i get the roaches? I saw a starter kit for breeding them at Hamburg last year so when I go next time any other places that I could get them?
55's are such useless tanks..... if you can get a 40 breeder that would be a much better size for a beardie. the 55 isn't bad of course but they are just so damn thin....

mine is lazy, never leaves his perch except to eat and get water. once in a blue moon he jumps down and does the dragon dance indicating her wants out, and then he tromps around a bit and pokes his nose in everything, and then goes back to his tank and scratches on it wanting back in lol

I'd prefer Marvin to be like yours...lol...He runs around, knocks vines down, and generally makes a mess of everything.
Lettuce is not a dark leafy green... try not to feed it at all, even if you're just checking out his appetite.
Oh damn... i don't know how i missed that.... yeah never feed lettuce...... Iceberg lettuce has absolutely no nutritional value and is like junk food for lizards, they love it but it's bad for them. romaine lettuce is slightly better but still should not be used often. you want to stick with mustard greens, collard greens, dandelion greens, turnip greens, etc. NO spinach, cabbage, lettuce.... kale i believe is ok in small doses.. if i remember correctly it's one of the ones that should be used sparingly
