Probably, if you do regular water changes like your supposed to, and you don't over feed your fish. If it turns out to be just shy of needs, you could always offset it with a decent HOB. I use a canister rated for 175 on my 150, and I still use 2 Aquaclear 110's with it. Granted I don't know if its enough for 1 Oscar yet, as it still undergoing new tank cycle.

on my 55 i run to eheim 2217 (rated for 262gph) and 2 60-80 hob, and i still feel its never enough. this is for my convicts to breed in btw

There's really no such thing as too much filtering. I've got 2 Rena XP3's, 1 Aqueon Quietflow 55, a sponge filter rated for 80 gallons, and then an Eheim 2217 on my 55 gallon.
