do a betta with nice planted background, black gravel, black background a little fake bonsai tree in the mid and you got yourself one kickass asian themed fishtank

Also liking the Electric blue crayfish for the bottom, can they go along with Tetras, Corys, and Shrimp?
I wouldn't he can and will eventually catch them and then its over. If your wanting neons I would suggest waiting until your tank is about 6 months old they never seem to do very well in less mature tanks then that.

I like the Idea of a planted with a few neons and some ghost shrimp or shrimp of color if you like that :) Maybe some Cherry shrimp?

crayfish is a bad idea. once they get a hold on a fish its dead. if you get a crayfish thats all that should be in there. I had a crayfish kill and eat a $40 catfish

Yeah, the 35 will be a transport since I travel alot, my Beardie is my companion. I'm like the Tetra, Cory, and Shrimp idea? Can you tell me what they eat, I was previously told it was just pellets or flakes. I'm assuming these fish are just a fill the tank with Reverse Osmosis throw on a basic filter, and we're good to go type creatures?

corys will eat flakes but prefer a soft sinking pellets and tetras just simple flake food. corys are pretty hard a simple filter and a cycled tank ur golden.

Okay Everyone,
First I would just like to say thank you for all the advice! After debating it for a little while, I've decided I'm going to get Electric Blue Crayfish! I'm getting a 10 gallon tank (The Guy Is Including Gravel, Unsure Color) But tomorrow I will probably go to Petco and buy a few plants and maybe a cave-rock combo thing. I'll probably have my parents buy me a BIO-Wheel 20 gallon rated. Then if I have enough I'll throw in an extra rock or log for fun. Is it safe to keep 2/3 Crayfish in a 10 gallon?
