So you think I could say, two pigeon blood discus, the turquoise, 2 blue rams, 2 blonde rams, and a school of 'larger' tetras such as Congo?

Do I think? Sure.. This is MFK of course. You'll get all kinds of opinions depending on how conservative people are. I don't think that is really overstocked but you might get 10 people who do. The choice is up to you. But it being your decision on what to put in your tank is what makes this hobby fun.

I don't know if congo tetras can handle temps that discus need(know nothing of congo tetras) but rams can, and smaller tetras like rummynose I believe.

i would go with the 3 discus and tertras amazonia tank would be cool.

never kept discus but seem many and know many people who have theres two things i know about them
1.they make pairs so get an even number of them or the will kinda play odd man out
2.they need warm water and can be pretty hard to keep

so i'd say get lets see that tanks around 30 gallons right i'd say get two discus and a few ram cichlids or other dwarf cichlids and a school of tetras congo would work

P.S while not needing higher temps ram cichlids color up more in warmer water it really does make a difference

Well, I was talking to an LFS employee about them being harder to keep and he said that them being CB and not WC theyre alot easyer to take care of. I asked him wqhat there chemistry was at he said "neutral, pH is at 7" and they seemed VERY healthy and nice coloring aswell, very active. So, I trhink I might just get the Pigeon blood, it'd save me some money and I could get a few more rams.

With the price of those discus I'd go for it it you think you're ready, that price is a steal!!!!!! You could put a pair of dwarf pike cichlids in there too.

Wouldnt the pike stress the crap out of the Discus?
Or did you meen just a pair of dwarf pike?
Probably just gonna do the two pigeon blood, and the rams ofcourse. I'm thinking that theyre already a pair because of how they were acting at the LFS.
The guy I talked to said he could get me lots more discus if I wanted, so I might get two more later on.

I've got to clean the tank first though. Its dirty and has nasty gravel in it.
Then I need to buy some plants and get it cycled.
