SO MANY TINY FISH THIS SEASON

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
We have a lot more stores to go to than most people and none of these stores nore any of the venders ive seen on this site commonly stock p bass under a inch, 1 1/2 inch alligator gars and wolf fish from 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches. I know wes has some of the smallest wolfs i have seen offered and even those are around 2 inches and from his past stock list i never rememeber seeing them smaller.

I think your the only one on this post who gets the point, all the fish i have listed are commonly sold at my LFS AT SMALL SIZES this year the fish have come in SMALLER THAN EVER BEFORE.

I agree and I strongly disagree that this is more logical for all fish stores. For instance. Big als by my house offers replacement grunted as long as you bring in water and let them test it.

I am pretty buddy buddy with the manager. He tells me that a good 30-40% of the stock that goes out gets replaced at no cost. He says almost all of that is baby fish. On occasion he says they get a large fish back or that they need replacing.

There are pros and cons to both.
