I lost a TSN this morning... strangest thing is... I don't know why... he was the most active of the larger ones. I Went into feed them and he was fine... he ate a shrimp then went on his merry way as always I finished feeding the rest of the pack... moved to Busters Tank (who is on another Hunger Strike since his tank move) and spent 10-15 mins trying to coax him into eating with no luck, Fed the little TSN's came back to check up on the Bigger ones and the hybrids... and he's floating around with Gills flared open...I rush to get him out of the tank open the mouth and nothing was stuck... just his usual little tummy from the shrimp...I'm really upset over this as he was the first TSN to eat from my hand...ONLY actually so far... :irked: I don't know what happend in the 25-30 mins while I was away but it's crazy.

I don't beleive so since when I opened his mouth there was nothing there... I havn't opened him up to look... I don't think i will... I think i'm going to give that articulation thing a try on him... I've frozen him for now though and when I have more time i'll look into itm

i'm so sorry about Buster

bad luck basslover just pure bad luck
its like they are all doing so well they grow from their tiny itsy bitsy size to 6-7" and then out of the blue they just go
hope this doesn't happen again

No way...that's the weirdest thing.

I hate when you lose something in that manner because you never really get closure as to what the cause was.

Definitely sorry for the loss basslover...at least it was a fluke and not a tank-wide issue.
