I had a 6 month old ball python that wouldnt touch a thing for about 11months but one day she finally got hungry and it was good from there. I gave her to a friend about 2 months ago but she is still doing just fine. Keep tryin and he will eat when hes ready.
Sounds like he might just be one of those picky eaters, this is why you see a lot of people recommend breeders ensure their hatchlings are good eaters before selling them - it worries new pet owners and can cause all sorts of miscommunications.
