so my lil bro got me a fish tank any ideas?

yeah its a form of filtration either way if the tank hold water just get the deviders out and your good to start cycling and stuff what kinda fish you into?

im into cichlids bro but my gf is into " preety fish" lol so i can prolly do something for her i saw a ram cihlid realy coloreful and nice read it only grows to 3inches i dont know if its right it said adult size on the little info card

not a stupid Q yes its a kind of filter, but holds water so in turn will still hold fish. use it for what you want but its extremely useful if you have a sump. not just salt but fresh water too uses sumps more water = more room to fish even though they cant swim it (so in the fishes mind you add that 20g sump to a 50g tank all of a sudden there in a 70g) ..... making since??????

true story! i swear i was gona get some of those but it slipped my mind ill prolly get some of that but i wana keep my options open to make sure i do something that will entertain me lol

yeah same here with the whole gf thing get her some guppies so you can have food for your cichlids and raise the babies so you have more food lol plus she will like those mine did till she found out i was feeding them to my big ones haha

yeah i heard they need alot of space and can be really aggressive even though they tend to stay small but im not sure look them up see what you can find

around 100$ depinding on witch way you go with it, you can get an overflow used for like 50$ (is what i payed for mine and its a biggg as$ overflow ) and a pump for like 60$ and use cut up straws for bio media... look into it its hard word and a lot of patience but it will pay off in the long run
