so my Little Jag ate my Danio

I kind of have a hard time believing that..

Why? balton has some large Jags. A full grown male could do that in the blink of an eye.

i had a giant danio with my female red devil this danio was huge like 4 or 5 inches and then he died from my convict killing it i was pissed...he was like 4 yrs old so i feed the convict to my pike....luckily the convicts are over populated..lol

Seems excessive punishment for doing what comes naturally.......

They were in a 50 gallon tub overnight. The tubs were thoroughly covered with eggcrate and rocks and wood on top to hold it down. The convict and balzanii were both gone the next day. Sorry if don't think a 12-13" Jag can't swallow a 3-4" fish. I'm a believer.

So my lil' Jag is still kicking it, albeit a little fat. I'm guessing he'll get to the other Danio in the tank sooner or later. I'll post a pic in the near future, hopefully you guys can sex him/her.

Your Jag will be fine! My Jag ate three 2 inch Danio's in one day. At the time, my Jag was 5 inches long. I had two 4 inch Danio's left, took them out and replaced with 5 silver dollars the size of a silver dollar coin. The Jag killed one but didn't eat it and the 4 silver dollars that are left aren't bothered by the Jag, for over a month now.Oh, by the way, I have an 8 inch Jack Dempsey and a 7 inch also in that same tank and they don't even bother with the silver dollars, too wide as opposed to the danio's I guess, to fit in their mouths.
