Anne, do believe it? If you do, it will give me a completely new mentality about Senegals....

I had a p'lap nmed pickles. One day one of my cats got close to the tank and pawed the glass.the following occured his body slightly swelled with water, his gills covers flared, the dorsal spines raised, and he went full speed into the front glass after the cat.the cat went straight back 41/2hittining the bed.Actually iwas was reffering to the ''other forum'' comment-Anne

This morning I decided to take all my Senegals out of the tank and put them all over the fishroom floor. Then I let my cat at them. He came over and pawed and bit at them but they just laid their flopping around helplessly. None of them "lunged aggressively toward the cat with its mouth wide open!". Not one. After all they're not snakes and don't have the ability to lunge forward and strike when out of water.

Just kidding!!! ;)

Okay,

So the fish keeper saw a sen on the floor next to the cat. What the hell was he doing "watching" the action ?

If it were me, as soon as I see fish on the floor, I'd started to run towards it and I guarantee it'll scare all cats and dogs out of my way.
