The ultimate hitch hikers guide to the universe by Douglas Adams, almost done :D

'Galaxy', right? I was a huge fan of Douglas Adams' books when I was young, at least the four books in the Hitchhiker trilogy. I never realized he wrote a fifth book in the series, I will have to check it out!

At school I just finished reading aloud "The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles" by Julie Andrews Edwards. It is a not very well-known book written by Mary Poppins herself. Great book for 8-10 year-olds.

At home I only read non-fiction, it's been nearly twenty years since I've read a non-school-related novel. I am currently rereading "The World of Catfishes" by Midori Kobayagawa. Great pictures of rare catfish and some interesting (if a bit "dry") information on morphology.

Whoops my bad lol thanks dan

I knew what you meant. :) They made a movie out of the first book. It wasn't fantastic, but kind of cute. My three and a half year-old loves the movie, it's one of the few "Daddy's Movies" that he gets to watch - it's mostly harmless.... I really do need to get that fifth book, I might have to break my nonfiction-only rule for old times' sake!

If you're a fan of Col. Moore's tactical abilities in this campaign, you might be interested in reading Sun Tzu's 'Art of War' translated and with tactical analysis by the same Harold G. Moore (now a Lt. General).

When I saw this in the bookstore I had to have it. Excelent IMO but I love this stuff.

The book is titled, "Put Us Down In Hell: The Combat History of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment in World War II": By Phil Nordyke.

Hoorah! "All the Way"

Just saw the post above me I read "We were soldiers once and young " years ago. Lt. Col. Hal moore and Sgt Maj Plumly great book and great movie too.
