My lungfish would eat pretty much anything that went into his tank. After 24" he would even bite my hands and arms when I was doing something in the tank and not paying attention. I always kept my hands clenched in fists though so there wasn't ever any real danger. Their bites are only really dangerous if they can get a finger or something deeper into their mouths where they can really smash stuff up.
