Anyone? I'm headed out Sunday with a trout rod to have a little more fun.

I love surf-fishing. Good luck out there. Not sure about the weather. Do you post on Scsurffishing.com ? Check out the site if you haven't. It is all about Surf fishing in Southern California. Great bunch of peopele there.

Not sure where you are but where i am we had 11-13 ft swell with NW wind gusting to 40 mph today. Not to mention the water in the low 50's... :naughty: Good luck I enjoy surf fishing, all i have ever caught are perch though.

i was at HB today... The swells were nice... nothing but small Perch, So im going back with my trout rod to have a little more fun.. It was a odd day... The pier was fogged out and the beach we where on was the only sunny spot all day tell 11am. It was only cold around 4-6am once that sun got up it was nice. I was geared up in layers.

NativeLover. How come their isnt a single surfer in the water? In HB they are everywhere and it pisses me off.

Noo there must be some beached around SoCa that are smaller waves i hate surfers... they cut my line sunday. Gonna have to wait tell Pismo Beach this year to go all out... surfing is banned

Surfers and Swimmers are the pedistrians of the waves.. they always seem to THINK they have the right of way.

Luckily here in San Diego, there's enough beach and surf to go around. Sometimes, there's that ID10T surfer that insists on surfing right in front of you no matter how open the beach and wave sets are. For the most part, the surfers I run into are friendly and will sometimes give me intel when they paddle back in.
