well i just dont find fighting bettas fun anyways but i aggree that it is a "hobby" or intrest to some and its kinda one of those things like feeding rodents to O's or bass,
and diddnt royce gracie just get his ass stomped by matt hughes? LOL im a chuck/ standup fan so i had to say it...

Dude give him a break! He's pretty old to still be in the game.



I still like him though.

Another good fighter is Helio Gracie, and Rickson Gracie

Rickson has only lost One time in his whole career.

yeah mma fighters are very hard workers and go thru rigorous training that is probably tough to do then anything most of us have done, and as for the fish fighting if thats womething you want to do then i say go for it it's your choice what you want to do with the fish in the end and no one can really do anything about it

I don't need my fish to kill another fish to get a sense of self gratification. I KNOW I'm not a useless man.

Aside from the multiple derails and personal attacks/threats, I'm closing this thread. I've found that just about every state has animal cruelty laws concerning forced animal fighting. Alot of these state laws are being incorporated into more defined federal laws.
On a lighter note, research found that it is indeed the fact that most of these bouts end when one fish yields. The fish are not forced to fight to the death. Often, the loser ends up with less damage than alot of fish receive in a mismatched community setup.
