that was the first time ive been home for one of those....
watching the water in the tanks slosh around is not something i ever want to see/have happen again

this is the reason i keep my water 2" below the rim... not a drop was spilled :D well... except for what my pleco splashed.. that was only a few drops

everyone elses tanks ok?

Experienced 3 earthquakes in my life and the strongest intensity felt was 5. I've seen my tanks slosh water much to my horror but no water spilled, thanks to the rim blocking it and I keep them 2 inches below the rim as well.

wow good thinking guys hope everything is okay

That wouldn't be very much fun. Looking at that site, on the worldwide view, I really didn't realize that many quakes happened that often. Wow. I know there are constant shifts, but geez, to see it mapped out makes it seem so much scarier.

yeah im from the east coast... the whole "everything shakes" thing is still new to me...

not a big deal i guess.. just a "rumbler"... but whatever... i dont like them..

Woah. Oprah must have went to the fridge. Hope everyone in Cali is OK.

Wow, im glad you guys are okay, I know this is probably the last thing you want to hear but is there any potential for a small rumbler like that to crack a bigger tank?

All the way from Chicago? WOW

I think a major even is brewing in the ring of fire. Something, to the likes of which, we have never seen.

good thing it was just a little one. the big one is supposedly coming and i just hope my tanks dont fly off their stands!
