ya, we've seen them to 14ft cruising at Santa Monica. never caught one though.

We catch those all the time in the SF Bay. Personally I like the fight of blues better, 7 - Gill remind of carp.....they just pull long and hard.

Very nice! Really...they're common around here? I've only seen Bull Sharks and I know there are Leopard Sharks around, but I haven't seen them. The rarest things I've probably seen have been Otters and Blue Whales. I've seen a pod of Dolphins from time to time off the coast of Ventura.

Santa Monica..I've seen a few that were caught off the pier.

I'm pretty sure they were Bulls. They were babies though.
