Sodium thiosulfate.

Anybody use this instead of pre-mixed dechlors? It is the active ingredient in all dechlor products. 3.85 for a pound! Great deal!!

I just bought a pound and I am supposed to mix with one gallon of water. It will dechlorinate 18,000 gallons.

I'm interested on how this works. $6 for a tiny bottle of Novaqua+ gets old fast.

Yeah, where did you get it?

Where did you get it? And please be more helpful than saying you got it online :screwy:

I have been buying it for that price at a pool wholesaler but they decided it was worth more. They jacked the price to $20 for eight ounces.

We use this at the store for dechlor when we bleach corals and micron filters.
