Sodium Thiosulfate will break the chlorine/ammonia bond in
chloramines but will do nothing for the ammonia you have to let your bio filter do that.

I was really curious at what concentrations everyone was using this salt at.

Do you know what the resulting chemical agents are from that reaction?

Forms Hypochloride and ammonia

it doesn't really remove
chlorine. It binds the chlorine, then releases it slowly over a day or so,
and the chlorine dissipates to atmosphere declorinators will break the chlorine + ammonia
bond and set the ammonia free. This replaces toxic
choraimine with potentially toxic ammonia. Which I do not feel is a big deal unless you have a weak bio filter. Now, extra thiosulfate will
handle the free chlorine, and that leaves the ammonia

Dejevu' we did this like a year ago...

Good stuff, I aerated the water during aging to get rid of chlorine & ammonia.

Try water softener companies or installers for it also.
