soft shell turtle

i have a chinese soft shell turtle , not sure how old he is but his shell is 5 inches long and 4 1/2 inches wide . I would like to put fish or an other turtle in the tank and was woundering if anyone has any ideas what would be ok , or if it would be possible as he has never shared a tank before
