Might try this on my pond. I know OASE has some high priced solar gear but this will be my low priced entry.

I've been looking into doing a diy solar setup anyway so this will be like a tester. A full system I am working on would consist of 2 pumps, 2-3 lights and a heater for winter.

Havent seen anyone use any kind of solar power for ponds so its been hard gathering info.

I have heard many good things about these. But not very operational during winter when they are needed to keep water flow to stop ice forming.
Another great solar oxygenating product is a spitter version. Like a water fountain but spits shots of water into the air instead.
Let us know how it goes if you get one.

good idea Co, I'll order 1 with ya so we can test the ponds and tanks.

Figured I'd give an update on this.

don't waste your money. There's no internal battery so it only runs during the day AND when the sun is out. Spend the money on a full solar panel and battery setup that you can use a reg air pump on or stick with battery pump. Also it's best to combine the two output into 1.

This Battery pump is way better "Hurricane Category 5 Professional AC / DC Battery Operated Air Pump". it not only has an internal rechargeable but can also use D batteries.

thanks for the heads-up...
