Sold as hystrix?

So I have been reading everything I can on this fish and there are some sites that say adult around 15" and here some are saying 20"+ those who have them what size are they and how old. Say someone here who has a pair around 12-14" A

I paid around the same for my orb as well

they call them Hystrix and the collect them in Peru, it's pretty much what the wholesalers consider a common ray, so the attach the name to it so they can sell them. It usually screws you over cause unlike a "True Hystrix" a Orb can grow well over 20" in diameter leaving the buyer with a fish at least twice the size they were expecting a maturity.

they can grow up to 36" in captivity. one of the larger rays to own.
