Solo Piranha for 55g

Decided to go for a solo piranha for my 55g. Please let me know what you think in my poll.

Although 3 RBs is just fine in a 55.. I wouldn't go with an RB solo. I don't think you will ever get to see his/her true behaviour.

Got mine from aquascape, they were very friendly. I ordered at 4:30pm and had my fish by 10 am the next day.

If your planning on keeping them forever in that tank a 55 is not good for a rhom or a manny.

Its ok as a growout for a rhom but a manny should have at least 75 gallons

you'd keep 3 12" fish in a 12" wide tank? and a rhom will never get big in a 55g. They need much larger tanks for life.

I say go for a mac/spilo or Sanchezi they are both very aggressive species but they both stay small

How is a 55g tank ever 12" wide? It would be more like 48x15x18.
I wouldn't put pygo's in a 55g though. I don't agree with keeping shoaling fish by themselves.
