easy to over look awsome snake.Just make sure you ad branches incase you get sold a tree dweller instead of the ground guys.Looks a bit like a death adder.Cool snakes.23858test-med.jpg

i just love these guys but it was one of my first snakes and i made some mistakes. No research and it was sold as a ground and i think it was more of a tree dweller. It may have been wc also i had trouble feeding it.Now ive had freinds do great with them.Mine was all black and its belly was beautifuly checkerd with reds and orange. They do look mean but usualy very docile.

I've been really interested in these guys for a while now........My LPS had a viper boa a while ago and I regret not getting it.......

Anyone ever had these guys? Any experience?

Just be wary of where they're coming from. There's a few captive breeders here and there, but the majority of Candoia are still WC imports. You can guarantee them having parasites, babies are stuck on still eating lizards and frogs, and many WC adults often refuse to eat.

yeah i will back that, you dont want to have to sent mice with lizards and such. That is what they eat at first and you can getthem off it but what a pain if you already have other herps to tend to.They are great though.Ill keep my eyes open for you.Realy you want some proof its eating mice. And if you can trust its cb,i dont know how hard it is to bring a wc to good health.May cost a grip.May be worth it.It could backfire though due to strees to the snake.
