Those are some bad *** turtles! I love em! I especially like the last face pic too. Looks like he's got an evil grin on his face.

H. Artner mentioned gravid females in A. macrocephala will form a gap/bridge between the carapace and plastron when gravid... this looks to hold true in A. spixii, photos below..

7.... errr....I mean 6 Acanthochelys spixii laid 20mins ago. Destroyed 1 egg accidentally while digging them out.. who knows if there good or bad.... 3 will go and be re buried outside and face the natural weather and temps... and 3 will be incubated indoors. Thanks to Kurt Edwards for the advice

unfortunately it seems as thou they are all infertile.. the original two eggs were infertile aswell. Oh well, not sweating it... got plenty of other stuff in the works.
