Really great pic. It perfectly highlights the color variation in each fish. And you can also see how their color changes with their environment. The sand in my tarantsy grow out tank is much darker, so the fish are as well. Have you noticed color morphs with them, similar to paratilapia, when they're stressed? For example, during severe thunderstorms, my tarantsy and their pindu tankmates will turn a deep velvety black.

We just had a big storm blow thru last night, and seems the temp has dropped almost 20', will be interesting to see if their color changes a little later this morning when the timers go on.
Think the storm may be headed your way.
