I must say I like that you listened to the advice given on here. I've recently seen a thread where someone asked how to stunt the growth of their alligator gar to fit their aquarium, and pretty much everyone told them to rehome it or get a pond. They haven't been seen on the forum since. I was fully expecting you to just get a chameleon anyway. You did the right thing for your animal.

what about a fire skink? was going to get one but ultimately settled on a crestie not to pricy either and from what I have heard are like little blue tongue skinks

my brother had one. It never really ate. my mom let him get one when he was like 5. Terrible idea. He put to many crickets in the cage, and yeah..... That was the end of the fire skink.
