Just your standard 75G.
Was gonna try and do some plants in there, maybe just put large pieces of driftwood.

if that was me id put at least 10 rbp's in there. use some amazon vine for decor so they can swim in and out of it. it looks amazing when u have a bunch in there they swim and shoal like you see them on the underwater camera footage on documentaries

10?
I thought for the longest time 3 RBP was maximum for a 75G.
Atleast, thats what I read here looking through threads here.

ive seen 35+ mixed pygos in a 5x2x2.5 and it looked AWSOME, they shoal PROPERLY like they do in the wild. lots may disagree, due to them thinking every fish needs tons of room but overstocking works with pygos.
try and get wild reds rather than tank raised aswell coz tank raised reds are ****

I will have to see about that...
Want to get the Sanchezi first.

a 75 gallon tank is way too small to pull off an overstocked tank of full grown pygos, there would be no room for 10 fully grown pygos to swim around at all. a 125 or larger would be great for overstocking with 10+ pygos, but anything smaller and your fish have no room.

well if 30+ full grown mixed pygos (reds, caribe, terns, piraya) can shoal well in a 5x2x2.5 tank then i reckon ten would be a good number in a 42x18x22

best way to find out is just do it. but dont buy them large, buy them at about 2" and grow them all together, they may look slightly cramped but that is how they swim in a proper shoal in the wild

at night when they sleep, as long as they arent all crammed in lol, its fine they should all find their own little space to chill

in that 5x2x2.5 tank they would go 4 deep and swim up and down the tank real close knit, inspiration

it was like watching them in those underwater clips you see on the tele

5x2x2.5 is almost 200 gallons, a true overstocked tank shouldn't be attempted with a 75, it's just too small.

i would like to see some pictures of this tank with 35+ full grown natts, caribe and piraya. how many each of 18"+ piraya, 14"+ caribes, and 12"+ natts?

sorry mate i cant get any pics of it.
he had 1 large piraya, at about 14", about 4 12"-14" ternz, handfull of caribe from 6"-10" and the rest was made up of wild reds and super reds all wild caught.
i wont forget how that tank looked, a true inspiration of a P tank. when im done with my snakeheads im gonna do the same in a 6x2x2 tank
