ive had my bamboo since sunday now, and i have a couple concerns.

first, i have yet to see it eat, although it does show slight interest. the lfs said it was eating krill and i have been trying krill and market shrimp.

second, it is flashing much like a fish with ich, but of course its not ich.

When you say "flashing" what do you mean? Is it glancing its body off the rocks or sand? Is it erractic and sudden movements? What are is respirations like? Are the eyes cloudy, speckeled, or crystal clear? Any sores in the skin and is the belly red? I need a little more info.

it is glancing its body off the rocks and sand, only on the top of its head. lots of laying around with a few glances every now and then. resperation is steady, say about a 4 second cycle. seems to hold the gills open for a 1-2 second pause, normal? eyes look good to me, skin looks good.

might sound stupid, could this be a territory thing? shark is 8".

ate some food(market shrimp) just a while ago so that is good.

Mine wouldn't eat straight away when I brought her home. Matt said this is normal though. Took her about a week to start eating. Try prawns and crab meat, mine goes crazy for it.

What's your pH?

Seems like something he's trying to get off. Could also be stray electrical causing issues with the AoL.

ph 8.3

there are 2 powerheads in the tank.

ive always been a bit confused on stray current. if something is leaking current in the sump, will it travel to the tank or stay in the sump?

cant you just get a grounding probe for your sump?
