Diogenes;3130468; said:haha. I've been in "the real world." I was a freight train conductor before I went back to school. I ran a switch engine locomotive at a yard at a steel mill. I almost got incinerated by 70 tons of molten steel which is why I went back to school (melted the two train cars behind me to a cold metal puddle on the track, caused an explosion, I was riding on the side of a train car when it happened. Lucky to be alive). I've been a general service mechanic, heavy machine operator, band saw operator, DJ, construction worker, printer. You name it I've done it. School is much more stressful for me now because I've got people depending on me. The fiance, my family, everybody has sacrificed a lot for me to go to school, I don't stress because professors play silly games, I stress because I've got one shot. If I mess it up, it's back to the blue collar for me. I'm from east birmingham man. My parents didn't go to college, my mom never graduated high school. My brother worked his way through school while working at the same steel mill as me and my dad. I've only got one more semester to go. Since I've been in school I've done well, and after graduation I plan on going to grad school and becoming an anesthetist or nurse practitioner. Fiance's waiting to have babies until I'm done. My life ends the second I flunk a test. Has to be an A everytime or no scholarship.

Geee man you've just given us a glance to your life!!!!.....
I guess you need to let it come out...It would be very nice to be with you guys in front of some beers and talk about life and the most important of it......PIRANHA!!!!.
I think you're overeacting to the stress in your life, I am not refering to that explosion think, but your results as an student.
You seem to be a very inteligent lad for how you express yourself writing so I am sure you can do it far good. Just, listent to this advice: Do not worry too much, believe me man I've been there and when someone worries the most about not loosing the battle instead of winning it, you put yourself in extrastress and then you can mess it up dude.
Just take it easy and enjoy school and "smoke" some piranha dope to feel relax.:ROFL
Cheers.

Diogenes;3130922; said:yeah I guess I got a little personal there. Oh well... You can only drool over so many piranha pics with other people before you get on that level I guess. Humans are social creatures after all, and as far as I can tell...I'm human.
