Wow, is that black one a Jardini? It's probably an Asian. =(
I wish it were, but it is not.

nice flash tiger : )
and love the black bottom black bakground tank .... i like the lighting too, even though i have hagen glo t5 , they look unnatural compare to urs...
one thing though, it mite be better to invest in a stealth heater ( unbreakable ) ... cuz that.... is that jager? .... wat if that flash tiger decide to stretch a bit and accidentally whacked n broke that glass heater.. OOPS ^^;; just a lil advice
Thanks, picked up the tank from a fellow member and made some minor changes. Lighting is 4 regular aquarium bulbs and 2 Actinic. I need to play round the camera settings to get more realistic pictures and color. I'm looking to scatter gray/black beach stones (1-3 inches) on tank floor and possible add a 3-3.5 ft piece of drift wood I have sitting in the garage.
Ya they are Jagers, I was looking at titanium but couldn't find any locally that I liked, If I have problems they will be replaced. The Cat is in a 75 gal divide until I figure out which tank I want to put him in.
So it looks like a flash Jurense?

You are right too.
Juxtaroberto;2705558; said:
Seriously?! Because here the Asians are illegal.
So is that just a regular jardini with a color variation? Where can I get one?
He is just dark because of the blk background and tank floor. The larger one was lighter when he was in my tank that has PFS.

HOW BIG ARE THE JARS. DO THEY FIGHT WITH ANY FISH?
The Jars are about 8-9 in and hte larger one is about 11-12 inch. They have been together for about 2 weeks and about a two days after they started fighting and torn some of their fins. Luckily I got the 3x silvers about 6-7 days later and that is helping them calm down. The Jars really only pick on each other. They don't touch the Midas/RD or the P-bass. I had a Venz Pike in there but moved him to his regular home.

Wow! 2 Jars and they all get along? Cool!
It's only been about 2 weeks so I dunno if they get along yet. I might get rid of one or just move him to another tank.

Wow! Awesome love the bass
Thanks. Their fins have gotten a little torn up in the last week. Hopefully they get better once every one is adjusted.

wow I'm interested in how the silver jar community works out. ever get much aggresion?
It's only been about two weeks. When I had one Jar in there everything was fine, when I added the second about 2 weeks ago they started going at it after about 2-3 days. A fews days later I got the 3x silvers and seems to be getting better. I'm trying to keep them well fed while they all are getting use to the new tank mates and environment. I need to make some media changes two one of my FX5s and add more ceramic rings. If things get worse in the next 3-4 weeks I might need to remove one of Jars.
