Some "interesting" info about the US humane society

I did, it's just that most people won't.

Also, the thread title says "US humane society", which many people may read as "humane societies in the US". The organization that we are talking about is the "HSUS", not the "USHS". Small point, but it does make a big difference.

I fully agree that the HSUS is a bad thing, I just wanted to be absolutely sure that nobody would skim the thread and go away thinking that American Humane Societies are somehow anti-herp.

do i hear a riot coming on......... hell yeah im there. hahahaha really though screw them it will never happen. maybe some good could come of it in the pets interest, like you must own the right size tank for the critter or fish. so think of it this way no more rtc's in a 55 g for life, and no more ball pythons in a 55 g for life. if they refocus on bad care takers of the industry than thats fine most of us have nothing to worry about (except for there greed. thats just wrong that sounds like a good court case for a top $ lawyer to make good for all the locals on).

The prob is that are into peta mentality, they want to atack first the weakest link, wich is the herp hobby and once they are done with it they will go for fish, then all exotics and so on.
