How are the aros with those large rocks.

I used to have a similar setup with rocks like those on the bottom however when the fish used to freak out sometimes they would knock the rocks around pretty hard. I was afraid that it would smash the glass so I took them out.

Is your tank glass or acrylic?

My Aro's do the tip toe dance around the rocks in search for fallen items. I have never had any berserk activity in this tank because they do not feel crowded ( and, again, IMO, the major factor is the brutal width of the tank ) which, by the way is, 1000 litres ).

One can say it is overcrowded ( it surely is overfiltered ), but I see no crammed fish in there...the big asian is 50 cm long. the others are all smaller, but big.

Aro's fight less when in bigger numbers.
