some more active polypterus

Also wonder if size is a factor in activity...I know my little 11" congicus hides a lot during the day...thinking that may be a little tougher when he's full grown. Also, the 20+" ornate I have my eye on at the LFS is always swimming around when I go see him whereas the little 5" ornate I had before he died (boooo!) hid most of the time.

My Senegal (about 7 to 8 inches now) swims around non stop and has since he was around 2 inches long. He only stops every once in a while and never hides; he's probably the most active swimmer in my growout tank.

same here, my Senegal is always swimming thru my bubble curtian. the endi is always hiding or hides when i show up.

Why not add both a senegal bichir together with a p.teugelsi.these 2 species of bichirs are very active not only at night but also during the day.
