Some more fishing pics (Jardini, Tarpon, Barr)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
awesome Jar! never seen a jar with that much green on its body.

These wild jardinis seem to have way more colour than tank ones. However, non of the wild ones I have caught ever displayed any long barbels. Below are some more pics (sorry, taking me a while to upload. I suck at computers).

No probs.:grinyes:

We call these Mouth Almighty (Glossamia aprion) over here. They were in plague proportions, aggressive little bastards that had no hesitation in hitting flies half their size. Gave us excitement as everytime they hit, we thought we had a jar. We ended up catching 30 jardinis by the way, and just as many mouth almighties.

the little think looks cool

Second lagoon we fished had barramundi, sooty grunter, and tarpon.

This was the *ahem* boatramp where we launched.:D

Freshwater barramundi. Notice the difference in colour between the saltwater barra (first pic) and the freshwater barra (2nd and 3rd pic). The freshwater barra were also much fatter, and weighed much more for their length than the saltwater version. Perhaps reflecting their more sedentry lifestyle?

Barra surgery before release.
