Well added 3 wild females for the big boy. Its been like 3 days and so far so good. He displays when they come near him. HE seems to have taken a liking to the biggest female out of the bunch. Hoepfully they will pair up, so I can move the other 2 females to another tank to avoid any casualties. Havent taken any pics yet was waiting for the females to settle in.
 
Good luck with him Danny! It killed me to let him go but I had enough of the Umbees for a while. He was the best looking male from the first shipment that Jeff Rapps imported last year. Great fish with a great outgoing personality! He has produced thousands of fry that are being circulated in the hobby right now so I feel that I have done my part, now it's your turn!!
By the way, I just got a nice spawn from the large Ornatum pair I've been trying to get going for the past year! I managed to get some great pics of the female lit up like a yellow canary I will be posting soon! I've heard people say the Ornatum are no more attractive than a Dempsey! Wait till you see this pair!! Again, thanks to Jeff!!!
 
Going to be changing the gravel soon. It was free when i got it so cant beat that. @GMFISHNUT wow the ornatum finally spawned. Cool. They are way better looking than a Dempsey. More color. Let me know when those fry are ready. I will take a few. The male umbie seems to like the biggest female of the trio that Rapps gave me. So hopefully soon I will get a big spawn.
