Fine looking catches there, cougar! Very nice! :) I'm sure you and your son had a load of fun reeling in those guys!

How big, btw?... If you ever happen to catch anymore like those and are willing to ship??... let me know!! I have always been a big fan of Texas cichlids... and some wild caught ones would be really nice! :headbang2
Let me know what size you want and I will see what I can do.

sweet fish/pics

Any size would be cool, just as long as they're as impressive as the ones you caught in those pictures!!... how big were those? :)

What's the biggest you've ever seen? caught? what other fish sp. lurks in those waters, btw?

I once had a male that was 13 1/8 in. Other fish include, gars, mexican tetras(awesome fish w/pirahna like teeth) bass, various sunfish, catfish, darters. Freshwater prawns(endagered) Blue Tiliapia. Plecos...LOL

Will you ship these fish out? I would love to have some gars and texas! Let me know!

that cajun red line stinks, go with power pro or go home.
JK, those are some interesting local fish, where are you located if you dont mind me asking?

Somewhere near the Alamo!

I don't like messing with gar too much, besides I rarely catch them under 20in. Texas cichlids are easy. I love to get pairs. They will spawn non stop. Good for feeders, and taing to the pet store. I am waiting on a albino.......There is another river less than a mile a way and they don't even connect but they are a much lighter color morph.
