Thanks. :D

I wasn't planning on taking pictures today, but I had the camera near the tank, and figured I'd snap a few off. There's no point keeping the front glass clean because I'd have to do it multiple times everyday.

Just wondering why you would have to clean the glass multiple times a day? do the fish splash when you feed them?

Heh... yep. The pike is the worst offender, but the Motaguense will splash every now and then. I also have my hands in the tank fairly often to feed the Loricariids in the tank, so that adds more water to the glass, etc. Couple the frequent feedings with water changes every other day, and it means the front glass is always getting drenched.

Nice fish.. And not to beat a.. well ya i'm gonna beat ther dead horse.. I just grab a towel and dip it in the tank wipe the outside down and then wipe it with the dry part of the towel.. Then i snap pics... :) YOur fish look well careed for even thought the outside evironment... LOL nuff said :)

Thanks. :D
There's no point keeping the front glass clean because I'd have to do it multiple times everyday. As for the algae... I don't really care about it. I'll keep the front pane clean; other than that, it doesn't bother me.

Next photo session, I'll make sure to wipe the front glass.

Dude, no point? :grinno: Thats like saying there's no point in washing my clothes, they'll just get dirty again right after i wear them.
Multiple times a day? Sheesh, your fish must make an awful racket, splashing all day like that. :D

I do it every time i do a water change and if they splash water all over during feeding, i have a towel ready to go.

If you want nice pics, clean the outside and also clean the inside right before you take your pictures.
Also, when you take your pictures, aim the camera slightly downward and this will prevent the flash from going right back in the lense.

You'll be suprised just what kind of photographer you can be.

by the way, that looks a lot like a Loisellei rather than a motaguense. Do you have a close up of that guy?

He's handsome :D
