Hi everyone, and thanks for the comments, I think we all must be the same, as we all get used to the set ups and the fish we have and take them for granted, all the fish started of together, with a couple more of them, unfortunately I had 3 6 inch silver sharksabout 8 months ago, they looked to much like lance fish, and the aro's must have got hungry, because over the space of about a week they all dissappeared. My fire eels are always in constant battle with the aro's at feeding time, and quite often the smaller one will end up in the aro's mouth, at that stage he always gives up the food and swims away. I can't say I blame him, but he doesn't learn, as the next feeding time he is back fighting for his share.
They are both about 2 and a half years old, The green is a real stocky fish, very wide looking and a real pig, he eats frozen food and pellets, but the silver is not as stocky, he will only eat frozen ffod, I thought of starving the silver to get him on pellets, but I think he will end up eating some of his tank mates.
