that's a FOWLR, most of the bio filtration is already taken care of...
i'd imagine she's running a rather large skimmer with those fish...

FOWLR means fish only with live rock if i am not mistaken , that is why i asked the question as i cannot see any live rock , unless of course it is in a sump which i also cannot see (could of just done a great job at hiding it though), i would also imagine useing a large skimmer but could no see one , but again could well be in a sump , this is what i was wondering weather she was is in fact useing a sump with live rock / bioballs or just canisters , or if she was running a skimmer or just doing large water changes , just interested in what deferant people use in the large SW preditor tanks and the sucsess they have had with them , i have run many reef tanks in my time but useing the ecosystem method without skimmer as i dont like the fact that the skimmers take out a lot of good as well as bad in a reef system ,but everyone has there own thoughts on this ,

cheers col

yes the simmer is probably an under cabinet, and maybe a large canister filter as well..

if you look at the picture of the snowflake eel, in the upper right you can see a rock with some pink spots on it.. the pink spots mean it's live cause you just can't get that any other way...
