I swear i have seen and caught fish that look EXACTLY like these wolves. same size and everything. but here's the crazy part. i caught them in a stream in north texas. how is that possible???

Nice Golds!! Hope they play nice :)
I'd say the most active Wolf I ever owned... Constant movement, I can just imagine 3 pcs

I had 5 of them at the 3.5" mark and all they would do was fight and chase and I lost two. So I just ended the experiment. Maybe they where to small or maybe the 180 gallon was not large enough. Not sure but it didn't work for me, which really sucked. I now have a 8-9" single Gold wolf.

I guess it's possable that someone has released some. They would probably do quite well in Texas, Unfortunatly.

Thanks. They are very active and always neer to top of the tank swimming around. There are 2 more at the LFS that I might grab.

Very nice. I've been thinking about doing a co-hab of a Gold Wolf with a Curupira myself.

Thanks. That's exactly my plan. They need to get a bit bigger first

I think as soon as possible I need to introduce a larger wolf that will unsettle the dominance of one of them. fortunatly at the moment I have a similar sized Dog Characin, can't remember the latin name at the moment, that is filling that space at the moment.

very nice collection steve. i used to have a very small gold wolf but my hoplias austalis mistiones ate him... i wish i can get some more gold wolf again.

Thanks. I am toying with the idear of adding my Lacerdae in with them but I think they are just a little to small at the moment. I am becoming a big fan of this species particulaly as a group.

You haven't got a bad collection yourself :)
