oh really? I didn't know Northern Pike were native to Europe, I thought it was all Amurs, even though Amuria is only a section of Russia....I figured it was like a generalized name like Paraguayan Earth-eaters even though they were 1st discovered in ARGENTINA LOL or the "COLOMBIAN Redtail Boa".....even though it ranges to Northern Mexico and isn't even a TRUE Redtail.
While northern pike are technically the same species in both Europe and North America the northern in Europe can tolerate higher tempature sand have different fins and markings then North American pike.
