Ah ok, I just guessed husky bc I don't know of any other species where eyes can be two diff colors.

A lot of the Aussie's have the diff eyes. I even saw one a few months ago that had one eye with two different colors. It was pretty wild.

He's not a pure bred Aussie, cause he has a tail.
Not all aussies are born without tails;). He looks full aussie to me:D.

Really? Didn't know that. I have always thought he had to be at least 99% Aussie. The only thing that threw me off was the tail. That's good to know.

Yup, I've known a few that had tails, pure bred. Some people actually have the tails docked for looks etc. :nilly: Beed working in animal hospitals/kennels for almost 10 years.:D Beautiful color on urs though. Looking into getting an aussie soon as well. I have 2 bloodhounds now, 120lbs each. Good dogs. A lot of aussies, border collies, heelers, etc end up in shelters because people think "aw, how cute" until they get older and need LOADS of excercise and mental stimuli. :irked:

I am glad that we have 2 dogs...most nights they like to wear each other out.

They love going out in the country side and running around in all of the open space. Cooper is fast for his size.

looks like niko is doing well, thats great.

is that baby eclectus in your care now, or still at a store or breeders?

He will be at the store for at least another 2 months. We have been trying to go up and visit him as much as possible. It's amazing how much he's changed since I took those pictures on Sunday.

It's the only down side to getting a dog at a shelter...you never know. We think the other dog pictured is a doberman/german sheppard mix, but aren't sure.
